Romanillos

Like many, I grew up enamoured with the vast colours and timbres of the old Bream albums and films. The striking rosette was burned into my memory and when I became a guitar builder myself, I just had to try to make it myself. This initial challenge has turned into a much longer term endeavour. This model is a tribute to José Romanillos and my attempt to make a guitar with a similar aesthetic and tonal palette. It has a F to F# body resonance, a dark and velvety warmth, as well as a clear presence, definition and complexity.
