Finally started forcing myself to take more breaks and walk around the neighborhood. These past few days have been beautiful and I've been reading my new book about Clara Schumann at this weird park up the hill from Lincoln Park. Not a bad view...
In other news, I've been gluing up a storm. Braces, braces and more braces. Got two bodies put together and ready for binding.
Several months ago, I tried to have someone lacquer a guitar for me. Unfortunately, it didn't work out and I had to strip mountains of splotchy nitrocellulose lacquer off of this thing. The torture is finally over and I am ready to start French polishing!
In other news, I started another batch of mosaic logs, built a refined version of my clamping jig, made a new outside mold for my Torres model and bent a bunch of sides.
