The Maple Guitar

The maple guitar! This is my Torres model with maple back, sides, fingerboard and bridge. It was a custom order and is definitely unconventional, but after stringing it up for the first time, I am actually very excited about the sound, feel and look!

It's an honor to have the wonderful guitarist Hanna Link playing one of my instruments and it was a real pleasure to have her visit the shop last week. She performs solo as well as with the Weimar Guitar Quartet and Kathana Duo. Please check out her excellent recordings and upcoming concerts!

“…last weekend i visited the luthier of my new guitar, which I bought in April this year. This is Michael Cadiz and me after he did some final little things. It's so amazing and inspiring to play this guitar by him - a Romanillos Model with a unbelievable pretty and delicate rosette. The sound, what is of course the most important, is also very colorful and charming. Looking forward to the next concerts:

Green Guitar Festival Graz

Better late than never! Here are a few photos from this year’s Green Guitar Festival Graz. Despite Corona, it was a well-attended festival this year with outstanding concerts from Lukasz Kuropaszewski, Eminent Duo and Zsombor Sidoo. It was a real pleasure to finally see some live music after all this time!
